Established in 1927 in Shuili Township, Nantou County, the Shuili Snake Kiln Ceramic Cultural Park is home to Taiwan’s oldest and best-preserved traditional wood-fired kiln. Named for its serpentine shape built along a slope, the 31-meter-long kiln is a highlight of the park. Visitors can explore the kiln, heritage museum, and ceramic art gallery, and enjoy hands-on experiences such as wheel throwing, clay sculpting, and painting. It’s a cultural hub that blends traditional pottery with leisure and creativity.
