Located in Shuili Township, Nantou County, next to Checheng Railway Station, the Checheng Wood Museum is a cultural park transformed from the former Zhenchang Lumber Factory. The exhibition hall features a "fusion of old and new" design—preserving the original wooden structure as part of the display and overlaying it with a modern timber roof to evoke a layered sense of time. Inside, visitors can explore Taiwan’s forestry history, woodworking crafts, and manufacturing tools. The museum also offers hands-on woodcraft DIY experiences, making it a perfect place to immerse yourself in the aroma of wood and discover the charm of Taiwan’s timber industry.
