Attraction Introduction：
Checheng Station is the terminal stop of the Jiji Branch Line operated by Taiwan Railways. Once a thriving hub for the timber and hydroelectric industries, it has been transformed into a tourism destination that blends railway heritage with woodcraft culture. Originally built during the Japanese colonial era, the station was reconstructed with natural timber by the Sun Moon Lake National Scenic Area Administration after the 921 Earthquake, preserving its traditional Japanese wooden architecture.
